Philosophy
Philosophy is the study of foundational questions, such as knowledge, existence, and reason. Methods in philosophy include critical discussion, rational argument, and questioning. Learning to apply philosophical methods can develop skills of critical judgement and rationality, while understanding philosophy in the context of medicine can determine the importance of medicine in an idealistic view, creating a true sense of duty and purpose.
